#SciFiMonth 2024
When I look outside, I still can’t believe it’s November. The weather’s been unseasonably warm, but the calendar doesn’t lie–and Sci Fi Month is here! It’s once again that time of the year where the blogosphere celebrates all things aliens, spaceships, time travel, and everything in between. In 2024, the event is being hosted by a rockstar team of imyril of There’s Always Room for One More, Annemieke of A Dance With Books, Mayri the BookForager, and Lisa of Dear Geek Place!
I have not always been great at following reading plans in previous years, or like…ever. But is that going to stop me from making a reading list? Heck no! Granted, science fiction isn’t making up most of my diet these days, but I do have some books I’ve been saving up for the occasion. I’ve put together a mix of new releases, books that came out earlier in the year, and even backlist titles, and I’m hoping I’ll be able to get to most of them:
If you’re interested in participating as well, simply hop on over to the sign-up form and be sure to also check out all the exciting features the organizers have put together like giveaways, readalongs, and reading challenges. Everything about this event is super casual, low-pressure, and just plain fun, so grab your jetpacks and join dozens of other bloggers, authors, and readers as we blast off into another year of Sci-Fi Month. Let me know what your plans are and what you’re reading!

Neat event! I’m going to try to post about a couple books that I read a while ago, and I’ve been meaning to put up reviews 🙂

Sci fi has definitely been in the background for me this year, but I’m hoping to read a handful this month. I’d love to get to On Vicious Worlds, although I just realized I didn’t include it in my Sci Fi Month post, oops😁

I’ve got a hate read for Neuromancer that will be my contribution this year 😀
Other than that, any SF I read will be just because it’s in my rotation. Good luck with those books. Man, 9. That’s a lot 😉

Good luck with your TBR. I literally only heard of one of these books earlier this evening and I’ve seen good things about one of the others. Hopefully you’ll find some new favourites and have fun with the event.

I don’t read a lot of scifi but that series of Bethany Jacobs got all the rave reviews so I hope you’ll love it!

Can’t say I’ve made any sci-fi related plans yet, other than reading whatever reviews you post. 🙂

Lol! Making a book list is the best part, even if you don’t follow it. I’m thinking to unofficially participate. I was thinking to read mostly sci-fi comics, but I’m not sure how well that’ll pan out considering how busy I might be.
I love warm weather but it being this warm so late in the year worries me. It’s so odd that I’m hoping for cooler weather, but I really wanted to rock some fall fashion, lol.

Once again, I’m behind on my sci-fi reading.
