Friday Face-Off: Colorful
Welcome to The Friday Face-Off, a weekly meme created by Books by Proxy! Each Friday, we will pit cover against cover while also taking the opportunity to showcase gorgeous artwork and feature some of our favorite book covers. If you want to join the fun, simply choose a book each Friday that fits that week’s predetermined theme, post and compare two or more different covers available for that book, then name your favorite. A list of future weeks’ themes are available at Lynn’s Book Blog.
This week’s theme is:
“Somewhere over the rainbow”
~ a COLORFUL cover
The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow
When I saw the prompt for this week, my mind immediately went to this book!
From left to right:
Redhook (2019) – Subterranean Press (2021) – Croatian Edition (2021)
Bulgarian Edition (2020) – German Edition (2021) – French Edition (2021)

Hands down, my favorite is the Redhook edition. It’s just so beeeautiful!
But what do you think? Which one is your favorite?
I agree.. I like the Redhook the most, too, but the Bulgarian edition is also lovely!

Yea, the Redhook one is the best. The Subterranean Press one would make me think it’s a middle grade book for kids.
