I’d be interested to see if the comparison to Tchaikovsky actually bears any fruit or if the publisher is just blowing smoke and throwing out names of authors/series like halloween candy.

I have read the first book of this series, and there is some credence to the comparison. But let’s hope they emulate the good parts of Tchaikovsky!
