Since the beginning of the year, my TBR of “locked room psychological thrillers set in snowy, isolated places” has included Shiver by Allie Reynolds, The Sanatorium by Sarah Pearce, and now The Retreat. Hmm, I’m sensing a growing trend here…one that I enthusiastically support! No matter how much of it I read, I’m always up for more.

Mulholland really has some interesting books coming out this year! I like the twist with the performance angle, this could be really good😁

It was One by One. Turns out there’s actually another goodreads giveaway, though it appears to end today. It began as a locked room mystery set in a ski chalet, though by the end it had morphed into a mystery of how and why before finally turning into a thriller. Not the best story out there but I still very much enjoyed it.
