Waiting on Wednesday 08/14/19
“Waiting On Wednesday” is a weekly meme that first originated at Breaking the Spine but has since linked up with “Can’t Wait Wednesday” at Wishful Endings now that the original creator is unable to host it anymore. Either way, this fun feature is a chance to showcase the upcoming releases that we can’t wait to get our hands on!

There may be talk about whether this series might be due for an ending, but until that day comes, I think some part of me will always be a bit excited for a new Mercy Thompson book!
“Mercy Thompson, car mechanic and shapeshifter, faces a threat unlike any other in this thrilling entry in the #1 New York Times bestselling series.
I am Mercedes Athena Thompson Hauptman.
My only “superpowers” are that I turn into a thirty-five pound coyote and fix Volkswagens. But I have friends in odd places and a pack of werewolves at my back. It looks like I’m going to need them.
Centuries ago, the fae dwelt in Underhill–until she locked her doors against them. They left behind their great castles and troves of magical artifacts. They abandoned their prisoners and their pets. Without the fae to mind them, those creatures who remained behind roamed freely through Underhill wreaking havoc. Only the deadliest survived.
Now one of those prisoners has escaped. It can look like anyone, any creature it chooses. But if it bites you, it controls you. It lives for chaos and destruction. It can make you do anything–even kill the person you love the most. Now it is here, in the Tri-Cities. In my territory.
It won’t, can’t, remain.
Not if I have anything to say about it.”
Nice! Even though I fell out of this series I am so glad it’s still running strong! I hope you enjoy the latest installment once you get to read it!
Here’s my WoW
Have a GREAT day!

Yes, it’s still very enjoyable, even at 12 books!
So can’t wait!
Another awesome cover😁
Yes, love the covers for this series 😀
I think I’m three books behind. I never tire of the artwork on these and am so glad it’s stayed consistent. I’m not pushing for an ending yet. It’s not like Anita Blake where I was ready for it to end after book 6 or 7!
Haha, ain’t that the truth. With Anita Blake, I couldn’t make it past book 5 or something like that, so you lasted longer than I did!
I may have squealed when I saw the cover reveal for this. Can. Not. Wait!
Same here! It’s so beautiful!

Waaaaant, now, waaaant
Same here! Ugh, I hate waiting.
Ooh nice! I’m only one book into this series but I need to get back to it. This might be one of my favorite dos Santos covers as well.
I do love this cover! Honestly, it’s hard to pick a favorite, dos Santos is so talented!
Yay, I’m currently about 40% into Storm Cursed so it’s great to see the next book on the horizon. I’m happy to be finally catching up – now I need to review all my other outstanding series – DOOMED.
Once again a reminder that I need to catch up on this series! Will it happen? One day soon I hope!
