Teaser Tuesday
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of A Daily Rhythm. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

No Top Ten Tuesday for me this week. I started it, but my daughter has been under the weather due to severe allergies. So as of writing the writing of this post, I’m still playing Dr. Mom since we had two doctor’s appointments in less than a week with another coming up on Comic Book Day, but I’m hoping to be able to finish my Wednesday post before then.
The topic for this week is “Top Ten Authors You Want To Meet.” So, if you’re feeling like keeping a mommy entertained while she’s pretending to be a doctor (lest I be driven to insanity watching episodes of My Little Pony all day that I’ve watched repeatedly), tell me some of the authors that you’d like to meet and why. Tell me a book that you just love by them that I should read if I haven’t already. My TBR pile can always use more books (yes, I am well aware I mentioned a great book purging a few weeks back, but pfft…).

Oh this one is new to me so thanks for sharing!

I can’t really recommend that book over all, but that was a good quote from the book.

OOh nice teaser! And oh wow…the list of authors is too long to even begin to start! LOL!
Here’s my Tuesday Post
Have a GREAT day!

You don’t have to list them all. A few favs is okay. Even though I review genre fiction here, I love a bit of everything and have been looking for new non-speculative things to read. I read so much speculative fic that I forget that every book doesn’t involve dragons, aliens, and the like. LOL. I read a really great contemporary summer read a few days ago called Absolutely True Lies.

When I saw your quote was from Shadow Master, I was waiting for euphemism. But you managed to get one free of ivory towers! 🙂 Actually that is a good quote, I just cringe when I see that book. And laugh a bit too.

Yes, one of the FEW good quotes I’ve encountered. I’ve made it my mission to tweet almost every euphemism I find in that book. I’m up to the towers of ivory and playing the bone flute. I’m only reading this book for these quotes now.

Yeah, I’m with Lisa – this book made me laugh in all the wrong places! You won’t be disappointed though – lots and lots of stella quotes!

I just finished it. I’m… perplexed… That’s the only way I can think of it.

Haha, I think that’s a very nice way of putting it! I was VERY perplexed. I did have fun though with some of the quotes which I was messaging one of my friends about as I was reading – we had a lot of giggles and quite a few ‘no ways!’

That was me, too. Tweeting out the text along with reaction gifs and messaging my friends about ivory towers and mountains of the goddess. So nuts. I don’t even know what to say about that ending.
