Ash and Quill by Rachel Caine (July 11th 2017 by Berkley)
I’m looking forward to this conclusion of The Great Library trilogy. It was postulated at the end of book two, but looks like this confirms it — Jess and the gang are headed to America!
Hoarding all the knowledge of the world, the Great Library jealousy guards its secrets. But now a group of rebels poses a dangerous threat to its tyranny….
Jess Brightwell and his band of exiles have fled London, only to find themselves imprisoned in Philadelphia, a city led by those who would rather burn books than submit. But Jess and his friends have a bargaining chip: the knowledge to build a machine that will break the Library’s rule.
Their time is running out. To survive, they’ll have to choose to live or die as one, to take the fight to their enemies—and to save the very soul of the Great Library….

For the last six months, I kept getting this series confused with the “Invisible Library” series by Genevieve Cogman, with the result that I JUST NOW (literally minutes ago) heard the premise. About the library of Alexandria.
:O
Sounds. Uhmazing! Definitely on my to-read list, now…

I love “books about books” or books about libraries…though it’s true, sometimes their titles/series names can start to run together 🙂

OOh nice! Sadly, despite loving Rachel Caine’s books in the past, I just couldn’t get into this series. I don’t know why either. But I hope you will enjoy this installment once you get to read it!
Here’s my WoW

I loved the first book in this series and should really read book 2 before much more time passes. I have to say, I think this is my favorite cover of all three. Love the colors on it and it’s great that they are headed to America!

I have to agree, the red/white/black theme is very striking.

Oh, book 3!! I have refrained even looking at the short blurb because I have book 2 in my reading queue, after literally inhaling 🙂 “Ink and Bone”. It’s great to know I will not have to wait too long to go forward with this magnificent story 🙂
