Most Anticipated Releases of 2022: January to March

As we get ready to begin another year, it’s time to look ahead to the Science Fiction and Fantasy reads I’m most excited about. Not only is it fun to organize my reading and to make lists, they also have the added benefit of focusing my attention to the highly anticipated releases that I’d like to check out. Every quarter I’ll be putting together a post of my “must reads”, and while I’m under no illusions that I’ll be able to read them all, hopefully I can get to most of them (and also put some new books on people’s radars).

Anyway, I’d planned on putting together this list a little sooner, but better late than never! Plus, I’ve already gotten started on a few of these. Here are the books I’m really excited for in early 2022, what are some of yours? And would February and March please calm down?!

  1. There’s far too many books here. I’m closing my eyes, putting fingers in my ears and singing “lalalalalala” trying to make them all go away. I hope there’s some great ones in the batch, though! 🙂

  2. My February and March do seem a little bit, mmm, overloaded. Which is why I’m trying to read some of those books now. Ahh, the best laid plans. I can’t grumble though – look at all those lovelies.

  3. I have seven of these on my list too! And yeah, February and March are nuts 😂 I’ve actually been getting rejections for those months which is GREAT because I do not have time to read all the books I’d like to read then! Also I just noticed that I’ve ARCs for 5 books all coming out on the 15th, so that’s great 😅

Oh, and you’re missing Mickey7 in February and Seven deaths of an Empire in March. I’m sure you can get to these just as soon as you finish all of yours! Best of luck!!

  4. I’ll have to look up a few of the books mentioned here as I hadn’t heard of them before. I’m majorly excited for City Of Dusk though, it sounds incredible. Maid & Bone Orchard I’m particularly excited for too. I hope you enjoy all of these.
