I’ve been featuring a lot of fantasy/sci-fi lately, so I think it’s time for another thriller pick! Or should I say chiller pick? It’s no secret that I love stories that take place in icy, remote settings and I don’t think it gets icier or more remote than a lonely island in the Antarctic. I think that’s why I love the UK cover so much, which I’ve decided to showcase here alongside the US edition (left), because it’s just so intense.

This sounds interesting – Sleeping with the Enemy(ish) but with a remote and rather cold setting. Definitely intrigued.

“He loves her. He’ll find her.” Wow, such an emotionally charged statement – uplifting and romantic or terrifying and creepy, depending on the context!

I love the setting, and only bad things can happen when you’re secluded like that, so this is probably going to be a nail biter!

As soon as I read the sentence about the last boat leaving, I was intrigued: a claustrophobic thriller set in a remote location sounds just perfect! 🙂

I also love cold, dark settings, and the description sounds great. But when I saw the setting was South Georgia island that also interested the photographer in me, as that’s been a very popular photographic destination (sort of like Iceland has become). And I do love that UK cover. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, added to my TBR.
