Yay, a new epic fantasy by Mark Lawrence is always cause to celebrate! This one’s the start of a new series, called Book of the Ice, which is set in the same world as Red Sister. The cover was recently revealed, and it’s beautiful!

Yeah, it seems like he’s got a lot of projects going on right now, a lot of stuff on the side. Though I really appreciate that he puts out at least one major novel every year, doesn’t keep his readers waiting especially in the middle of series.

I’m not a fan of snow and cold but I am a HUGE fan of snow and cold in books. I also think the cover is LOVELY! I guess I better get set to read the first three huh?
